Who is Jesus?
Who is Jesus of Nazareth to you? Your life in this world and the next depends on your answer to this question.

In your own personal opinion, was Jesus a...
• A person that is and always will be a famous personality?
• A great leader?
• The greatest teacher?
• A person who did great works for humanity?
• The holiest person to have ever lived?

Go to any nation on earth, talk to people from every religion, it doesn't matter how committed they are to their religion. If they know about history, they will admit that there is no one like Jesus of Nazareth. He is the most uniquely wonderful person of any era.

Jesus changed the course of history. The calendar we use is proof that Jesus lived over 2000 years ago B.C. (Before Christ)
Hundreds of years before Jesus were born; the Bible states that prophets foresaw his coming. The Old Testament that was written by several different people over 1500 years contains over 300 clear prophecies of Jesus' coming. All these prophecies have already come to pass in detail. Staring with his miraculous birth, a life lived without sin, the miracles he preformed, his death and resurrection, these are all facts that Jesus was no ordinary man, he was more than a human. Jesus said "I and my Father are one" (John 10:30) "He who has seen me, has seen the Father." (John 14:9) "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)
Observe the life and influence of Jesus of Nazareth, the Messiah, throughout history you can see that he and his message always made a drastic impact and change in people and nations throughout the world. Where ever his teachings and influence spread, wondrous things are bound to happen. Everything that Jesus did was for the good of mankind.

People's lives also changed in dramatic ways as well. As an example, Lew Wallace, a well known general and genius in the field of literature, who was a stout atheist. Mr. Wallace studied in large libraries throughout Europe and America, looking for evidence he could use to destroy the Christian faith forever. As he was writing the second chapter of his book, he found himself kneeling on the floor and crying out to Jesus "My Lord and God." This came about because of facts that he could not deny anymore, Mr. Wallace had to admit that Jesus was the son of the living God. After finding his salvation, Mr. Wallace wrote the novel Ben Hur, an epic tale that mirrored the messiah as man.

Just as the story above CS Lewis, a lecturer at Oxford University in England was an agnostic for many years denying Christ. He was an intellectual and honest man, who made Jesus Christ his Lord and savior after studying the overwhelming facts of Jesus' holiness.
In his well received book "Mere Christianity" Lewis stated that. "A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic--on the level with a man who says he is a poached egg--or he would be the devil of hell. You must take your choice. Either this was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. (Emphasis: web author)"

Who is Jesus of Nazareth to you? Your life in this world and the next depends on your answer to this question.

Every man made religion is built upon a foundation of philosophy, rules, and norms of action. If we remove the founder of the religion from its discipline and practices of worship, it will only slightly change that religion. If Jesus was to be removed entirely from the Christian faith, Christianity would be non-existent. The Christian way of life depicted in the Bible, is not just a philosophy of life or a ritual to be followed. A true Christianís faith is based upon the vital relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ, our loving savior that died and rose again.
Jesus of Nazareth was crucified, buried in a borrowed tomb, and after three day in the grave rose from the dead. The Christian faith becomes something special at this point. Many opinions about the validity of Christianity stem from the proof of Jesus' resurrection.

Till the end of time, the direction in which many people examine the evidence of Jesus' resurrection, will lead them to become believers that Jesus lives. After examining the evidence given by the various writers of the Bible, Simon Greenleaf, an authority on legal issues at Harvard Law School, concluded: "It was therefore impossible that they could have persisted in affirming the truths they have narrated, had not Jesus actually risen from the dead, and had they not known this fact as certainly as they knew any other fact." Mr. Greenleaf was a Jewish professor who became a believer in Jesus the Messiah after studying the facts for himself. John Singleton Copley, a well known judge in English history stated that "I completely understand what the meaning of evidence is, and I'm saying to you, evidence of the resurrection of Jesus Christ will never be broken."
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the central and most vital part to a Christian's faith. There are a few reasons why believers of the resurrection believe it is fact and not fiction.

PROPHECY: Jesus himself predicted his own death and resurrection, everything ended coming to pass, just as Jesus predicted. (Luke 18: 31-33)

AN EMPTY GRAVE: His resurrection is the one explanation that makes complete sense because his grave was empty. The writings of the Bible clearly state that, the tomb in which they placed Jesus' body was heavily guarded by roman soldiers and closed shut by a heavy boulder. If Jesus was not dead but only wounded, the soldier and the large stone guarding his tomb would have prevented his escape. The theft of his body by his disciples would not have been possible either. Jesusí enemies would not have dared to take his body also, for this would have only strengthened the belief of his resurrection.

JESUS VISITED HIS DISCIPLES BEFORE HIS ASCENSION: His resurrection influenced his disciples, so much, because he personally met with them after his resurrection. Before his ascension Jesus revealed his true identity, no more than ten times, to his followers. At one point he appeared to over five hundred people, Jesus proved that his resurrection was not a hallucination. Jesus ate and drank with his followers and even allowed them to touch his body (1 John 1:1)

THE BIRTH OF THE CHURCH: Until this very day, the church remains one of the biggest institutions to withstand every obstacle throughout history. More than half of sermons ever preached have something to do with Jesus' resurrection. (Acts 2: 14-36) The impact is very clear, that the church started from this basic foundation. Jesusí resurrection and teaching is the basis for the modern church. Doubters of Jesus' divinity could destroy the church if they could only find Jesus' body, if he had never risen, as they claim.

LIVES THAT HAVE BEEN CHANGED: The lives of all the disciples that followed Jesus had changed dramatically, they lived his teaching before and after his death. After his death they were scared and fearful, they did not posses the faith to believe Jesus would rise again. (Luke 24:1-11)

After Jesus' ascension his disciples continued in his footsteps, spreading his Gospel. They gave faith to the weak of heart and healed many in Jesus' name. These men and women of God even gave their lives for his cause. Some were beaten, tortured, or cruelly murdered for spreading the Word of God, to the nations of their time. These disciples had fearless attitudes, knowing that they could accomplish anything, because they knew, in faith that Jesus truly had risen again. Not even death could prevent the Son of God and this emboldened the disciples throughout their lives.

During forty years working with people of high intellectual stature, in many universities, I've meet many people who refuse to admit that Jesus is the Son of God, the promised Messiah. With diligent investigation, there is much proof to be found of Jesus' divinity and resurrection. Many people that have yet to believe, honestly will say, "I have not made time to read the Bible or contemplate the facts about Jesus."

THE LIVING GOD: Because of Jesus' resurrection, followers of the Christian faith don't follow a code of ethics from a leader that has already succumbed to death, but own a connection, a personal relationship with the living God. Jesus is alive, and will forever bless and prosper, the spiritual lives of anyone that follows and believes in him. Forever millions of people will continue to realize the truth about Jesus Christ. They will overcome this world and become one with Christ.

French physicist and philosopher Blaise Pascal spoke of people's need for Jesus when he said, "There is a God-shaped vacuum in the heart of every man, which only God can fill through his Son Jesus Christ."
Do you want to have a personal relationship with Jesus, as your living Savior? This right is yours to possess! Jesus longs to have a loving personal connection with you, and he has a perfect plan for you life.
We won't be living on this earth forever. After our work here on earth is done, we have another life waiting for us. There are two choices, heaven or hell. Do you know where youíre heading, after you take your last breath? If heaven is your answer, you must make Jesus the choice for your life.
"I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the father except through me." (John 14:6)
There is no one else that can save you.
If you want heaven to be your destination, the following are steps you must take.

• Confess that you are a sinner (Romans 3:32).
• Repent of your sins and change (John 8:11).
• Confess that Jesus Christ died for your sins, and that he rose again. (Romans 10: 9-10)
• Invite Jesus, through prayer, to come into your life and be your Lord and savior.
If you said "yes" and followed the steps above, this is the beginning of a new and wonderful life with Christ. Confessing with your mouth this following prayer:
"Lord Jesus, I love you, I believe you are the Son of God. I believe you hung on the cross, died and rose again to erase the sins of man. I know that I'm a sinner and have sinned against you, Lord. Please forgive me of every sin I've committed and cover me with your holy blood. I open my heart, and invite you to enter, Lord. Direct me to destiny you have for me, shape me in line with your will, Lord. Write my name in the Lamb's Book of Life, I realize that aside from you Lord there is no salvation. Please become my Lord and Savior, from now until eternity. Fill me with the Holy Spirit so that I may walk in the calling you have for me, Lord. Thank you Jesus, for you overflowing grace that saved me and made me a new creation, in Jesus mighty name. Amen."
If you just prayed that prayer and received salvation in Jesus Christ, with abounding joy, we wish to hear you testimony. Click Here.
